With a length of 150 metres, yes, only 150 metres, it offers an unforgettable experience for anyone looking for strong emotions. You have to get past two waterfalls with whirlpools, which must be crossed without touching the water, through a narrow section that ranges between 1 metre and 40 centimetres wide. The rest of the canyon you have to discover for yourself. This canyon has everything you need for a day full of fun and adrenaline.
The descent of the Gorgonchón canyon, why is it so famous?
Once inside the canyon the real adventure begins. Shortly after the entrance you have to get past the first waterfall without touching the water. A little further on we reach the second waterfall, where its famous whirlpool waits, and we have to pass it by climbing or in opposition in order to reach a safe area further ahead. From here its narrowest section begins, no more than 40 centimetres wide in places. We progress along the gorge until we reach the characteristic chaos of boulders that leads into its calmest but most beautiful area. Its rock formations, with stalactites, tufa and limestone organ pipes, will leave you amazed after the strong emotions of the start.

- Full wetsuit, helmet, harness (depending on the time of year, always recommended), progression equipment, canyoning boots, backpack and dry drum.

- This is a canyon that, because of its size and geography, can carry large surges of flow. That causes continuous changes in its morphology and in its anchors.
