Lost in the immensity of the Pyrenees is another great guardian of our mountains, the Posets.
It is the second highest peak over 3000 meters after the Aneto. It is located in the municipality of Benasque in the Posets – Maladetas Natural Park. Its normal ascent route is from the Angel Orús refuge passing by the famous Cresta de Espadas and the Diente de Llardana.
It is a classic ascent that can be done in 1 or 2 days, in two different itineraries.

Programa
- Ascent in 1 day: Departure from the Espantosa parking lot depending on the time of the year. Ascent and descent in the same day.
- Ascent in 2 days: Departure from Espantosa parking according to the time of year, to the Angel Orús refuge, where we will spend the night. The next morning we will ascend to the summit of Pico Posets (3404m) where before we will have to pass the famous Fonda channel. After the summit, descent to the starting point.

The prices indicated are for a full group.
- The itinerary may vary depending on the time of year, weather, physical condition of the participants, safety or by decision of the guide in charge of the group.
IMPORTANT
- The guide may decide not to continue the activity for the safety of the group due to weather, terrain conditions or physical condition of any of the group members. In the event that someone is unable to continue “the whole group will turn around” and the activity will be considered completed.
- The guide’s pension in the refuge is paid by the participants of the group. Not included in the price.
- Participants will be able to use their own technical equipment if they have it under previous evaluation of the guide. The price of the activity will not vary.
- Although the participants are insured by our accident and liability insurance, we recommend to be a member of a mountain federation.
