Initiation course – Mountaineering 1
The Level 1 mountaineering course is aimed at all those who wish to acquire the basic knowledge of the mountain world, to be able to manage the dangers of the environment and be autonomous in activities up to medium level.
We will learn to manage a good planning, high mountain progression techniques, safety, avalanche rescue and knowledge of the environment in which we will move.
The level 1 mountaineering course takes place in the Pyrenees. Dates will be subject to weather conditions, please contact us for more information.
The specific material common to the group is included in the price, but the individual material is not included. If you want to buy it and have your own material, you can buy it in our store with a discount if you take the course with us.

- To know the basic equipment for rock, snow and ice.
- Knowing the dangers and how to foresee them.

- To know the logistics and graduations of a high mountain climb.
- Use avalanche victim rescue systems.

- Possibility of extending to 3 or 4 days by expanding and reviewing contents.
IMPORTANT
- The contents of the course are more specific and complete, if you want more information you can call us or send us an email for more details. We will send you a dossier in PDF format with all the contents at the time of booking.
- The personal mountaineering equipment needed will be checked by the instructor guide before the activity. In case of needing some material, the material mentioned in the “INCLUDES” section will be provided. The rest of the material has to be personal, if you have any doubt about it, call us or write us and we will inform you about any doubt.
- We have a store where you can get discounts for taking the course with us.
- The guide may decide not to continue the activity for the safety of the group due to weather, terrain conditions or physical condition of any of the group members. In case someone cannot continue“the whole group will turn around” and the activity will be considered completed.
- The guide’s pension in the refuge is paid by the participants of the group. Not included in the price.
- Participants will be able to use their own technical equipment if they have it under previous evaluation of the guide. The price of the activity will not vary.
- Although the participants are insured by our accident and liability insurance, we recommend to be a member of a mountain federation.
