In Roca y Agua, the ascent to Aneto (3,404 m) can be done in 1 or 2 days, depending on your physical level and preferences. In one day, the complete activity (round trip from Benasque or La Besurta) usually takes between 10 and 12 hours, ideal for those in good physical condition. In two days, the first day we climb to La Renclusa refuge (1-2 hours from the Besurta) and the second day we attack the summit (8-10 hours in total). Unlike some competitors, we offer flexibility in the itineraries and adjust the pace to your group for a safe and personalized experience.

Our rates include a certified mountain guide, technical equipment (crampons, ice axe, harness, helmet) if you don't have your own, and accident and liability insurance. Prices vary according to the size of the group and the season (check specific rates). Unlike other companies, we do not charge extra for technical equipment if it passes the guide's evaluation, although the overnight stay at La Renclusa hut and the guide's expenses (dinner and breakfast) are paid by the group, which is common in the sector. We recommend booking the refuge in advance due to high demand.

You do not need previous experience in high mountain to join our ascent to Aneto, as our expert guides will teach you the basic techniques of progression on snow and glaciers, such as the use of crampons and ice axe. However, we do require a good physical condition, as the route involves a 1,500 m difference in altitude and technical sections such as the Mahoma pass. If you are a beginner, we recommend the 2-day option for a more comfortable pace. Other providers may require experience in lower difficulty routes before, but we adapt to your level.

At Roca y Agua, we offer you a personalized experience from Benasque with local guides who know every detail of the Aneto and its routes, such as the classic La Renclusa or alternatives such as Salenques-Tempestades. We distinguish ourselves for our flexibility: we adjust the ascent to your pace and level, either in summer or winter with cross-country skis. In addition, our team has more than 20 years of experience in the Pyrenees, and we prioritize safety and enjoyment in small groups. While others focus only on the summit, we make the trip unforgettable.
